Under the weather
Once again, I’m fighting some kind of bug. For the past couple of days I’ve been congested and coughing and extremely tired. Extremely.
Last night I went to bed at 8:30 and 12 hours later, I feel like I could pass out again. Blech.
We have plans tonight to go to dinner with my SATC cousin and her ‘friend’ who are in from NYC. We’re supposed to meet downtown at 8:30, however we’re under a winter storm warning and are supposed to get like 7 inches of snow. I want to go to dinner because I love the company of those two, but I don’t cuz I feel like poop. I guess we’ll leave this one up to the Mother Nature.
Tomorrow night we’re supposed to go to a pre-New Year’s Eve party at a friends house. As of right this moment, I have no desire to go. We’ll see what happens though.
CB and I were chatting late last night when he finally crawled his ice cold ass into bed and he asked when we would have a weekend to ourselves. It’s true. Ever since marrying in June, it’s like all of our time is someone else’s. It kind of sucks but it is what it is, I suppose. I told him maybe we should both take off three months from work so that we could get sick of each other or something. Heh. But that’s the thing with us. I really don’t think we will *ever* get sick of each other. Ok that’s enough gush for now.
I guess I should pretend to work now.
Man, I’m tired.
I’ve been feeling tired too. I was thinking I need to take my vitamins again in case I’m lacking iron or something.
3 months off together would be nice for you two! Hope you find at least a weekend alone.
Hey Stu, sorry you’re under the weather. Quality time as husband and wife is hard to get sometimes, but a real good sign that you both crave it. I hope you never get sick of eachother <3
bleh. I hope ya feel better sweetie!!!
I have no idea what we are gonna do for NYE. We might just stay in!!! How old are we??? haha but I love it.
Well, the holidays always seems to be someone else’s time.
If you are still sick then you need to make a dr’s appointment…it may be more than just a stubborn cold…
Oh, a little gush is good. It’s kind of nice to hear that the man in the relationship seems to be yearning for a weekend that’s yours and not shared with anyone else.
I’m going backwards on the catchup here though…hope you’re feelin’ better by now.
