Pathetic

How pathetic is it that it’s December 10th and we still have not one Christmas decoration up in our place?  I blame it on not having any kids and on the fact that our weekends have been pretty busy since getting hitched in June.  Regardless of the ‘whys’, it really sucks not having any twinkling lights up anywhere in our place.  It’s kind of depressing truth be told.

I stopped at a Walgreens Friday night on my way home from work because they had their trees (yes, fake) on sale for half off.  But the one I was willing to lug out the store, into the car, and up the stairs to our little abode wasn’t in stock.  So I dragged CB out with me when I got home.  We needed kitty litter and dinner and were planning to stop at another Walgreens, but never made it past getting the kitty litter and dinner.

Then Saturday was the big holiday party thrown by his work so we never made it out of the house until we left for the party and yesterday was spent in bed (oh yeah my wishes from my last post were granted) and in our jammies all day cuz of the freezing rain and slippery roads.

So now here we are and it’s December 10th and one would never guess us to be a couple to celebrate Christmas because we have nothing up yet.  It’s our first married Christmas for crying out loud!

Oh and no holiday cards have been sent out either.
