I think I’m almost done with *knowing* what gifts I’m getting “everyone.”

ALREADY PURCHASED:

• 2 baby toys for 2 4-month olds - $20.
• 1 push toy for 1 yo great-niece – $20.
• Uno Spin for 8 yo nephew - $10.
• Pink Pashmena for 18 yo niece - $10.
• cell phone for Daddio - $100.
• top of the line digital frame for CB - $170.
• how to photo business book for SATC cousin – $15
• tiny tins to be filled with Kisses for cousins – $1.50 each
• cookie tins for hosts - $3.00 each

STILL TO BUY:

• digital camera for Momma - $80
• Dunkin Donuts coffee – $12
• scratch off lottery tickets (for 2 coworkers & boss) – $30
• sweatshirt (or something???) for hoodlum nephew – $20 tops
• a couple more cookie tins
• a couple bottles of wine
• something to send to Brother & family??? - $20

Shit. I’ve gone way over my budget.  I only wanted to spend about $300 tops but I’m spending more than that just on my husband, dad, and mom.  I’ll probably nix the wine and just stick with cookie tins. 

I love giving gifts, I really do (more so than receiving) - but I hate feeling forced to do it when most of the recipients (in my circle) are ungrateful. 

Gosh, I really need to get out of this Grinch spirit.
